Cimarron contributor Peter Levine’s short story collection The Appearance of a Hero: The Tom Mahoney Stories is forthcoming in August from St. Martin’s Press. Levine’s story, “The Very Intrepid” appeared in Cimarron #170.

Congratulations to Cimarron Contributor, Mike White, whose book, How to Make a Bird with Two Hands, won the 2011 Washington Prize at The Word Works. Poems from the collection (“Kansas” and “Buying My First Suit”) first appeared in Cimarron Review.
